“What Can I Tweet for You?”

Seriously, this is an honest question.

Welcome to my blog; Tweeting for a Living! This is a blog that serves both as a journal, information portal and qualitative analysis of the interactions we do on Twitter, Facebook, Blogs, Vlogs, LinkedIn, Stumbleupon… you name it.

A disclaimer right off the bat: I am not an expert. Nor am I intending to pass off as one upon starting this blog. I am a young, inexperienced student in this evolving game who is striving to learn as much as possible in the shortest amount of time.

Hence the reason for starting this blog: I fundamentally believe that social media has not yet been around long enough to be a practical science, where historical data is a good judge of what works and what doesn’t. So, instead of going for data, I will learn (and share) by doing the practical approach; just doing it.

One cannot succeed in social media without being social him/herself.

That, is the mantra of this blog.

I work/am aspiring to be a social media marketer; an industry I believe that will be at the forefront of not only marketing, but customer… people interaction industry within the next 5 years. In between now and then, this blog will serve as an evolving testament to the trials and benefits of this lifestyle and as an “alongside learning curve” for like minded individuals. What this means is that as I learn and share what I know, I might very well contradict that in the very next post. And I encourage you to call me out on that even before I do.

This is my learning process of how working in social media works and ultimately, my journey in this new lifestyle. I might succeed at times, will undoubtedly fail at times, but if even one person finds inspiration and success in my stories from here on, then this blog has done it’s job for you.

With that, I have another question:

“Do you want to see how deep the rabbit hole goes?”
